Sourcing parts in Australia

One of the only products I'm having trouble trying to source is the 18AWG solid core copper wire, any other Australians here able to find any domestically without having to go international?

I can't remember whether I bought this and the red wire from Bunnings. Or whether it was from Jaycar.

In Australia cable is categorized into mm rather than gauges. Bunnings has everything you need just get it rated to the correct voltage. You are better off with stranded wire imo but each to their own....

Stranded wire it is then, what voltage should I be looking for? 250v? And in that case I should be looking for 1mm right?

WARNING! Installation of electrical wire can be hazardous, if done improperly, can result in personal injury or property damage. For safe wiring practices, consult the National Electrical Code® and your local building inspector.
