Today I had a close call; I was changing the door handle on my daughter’s car, and need to get a new screw. I went to the hardware store before I did I locked the front door to the house. My wife was playing videogames in our bedroom. She called me right as I left the store and said that the cops were at the door saying that they were there for the plants, and no one’s going to jail. And then tells here that they could do this the easy way or the hard way. It’s up to her, and could they come in, she said no close the door and called me. By the time I got home they had left. So the first thing I did was go to the grow room and pulled up all the plants out of their rock wool cubes and putting the plants into a garbage bag and the cubes in another. Got itall packed up and out the back door and into a waiting van. In 4 hours we broke it all down cleaned it all up and everything out the door. I’ve been growing weed indoors since 1983 had to use hps street lights to grow with because were rare and expensive. In all those years I have never had any kind of police presence.Don’t know why but the one thing I know is if they had a warrant they would have come in so they didn’t. I don’t know if they will be back but I don’t think they can do anything about the equipment, and there is absolutely no marijuana in the house. 30 years I don’t bother anyone, pay my taxes work a good job and think its bull shit that I may have lost it all. I don’t believe that growing marijuana is wrong I still don’t feel guilty. I don’t live in a medical state the penalties are quite harsh 5 to 15 years. Guess I’ll quit smoking because I am too spoiled to smoke Mexican and kind bud can run 250 to 350 an oz. I guess I’m just venting anybody got any ideas or info that might help I would appreciate your feedback. Oh and I am so proud ofthe way my wife handled it and herself.
P.S. 80 plants in flower 72 in veg and 40 rooted and not rooted clones 2-1000 watt air cooled reflectors 1-600 watt air cooled reflector 3hydro reservoirs 1 4x8 ebb and flow table and 1 4x4 table and 1 veg 3x3 tableplus 4ft florescent heat matts, 2 proline, 6,inch fans and filters and supplies packed up.

Doubt it was the PD as well..

Here locally we have had some asshats dressing up in cammo's and yelling SWAT or border patrol as they bum rush the house..with 5-6 men

someone you know spoke to someone else... and I am betting they will be back...

No the guy that lives across the street says they was four cars with highway patrol and a van with the same logo. I’ve pretty much ruled out scam artist. Believe that it was a talk and knock just don’t know who phoned in the tip.

Glad everything is okay. Have they been back at all? The one thing im worried about for my first indoor, is heat detection. & Im no expert but i hope this isnt the case. But if it was, youd think they would bring a search warrant. No?

That is terrible and sad. It's also bizarre if they came with 4 cars and did not kick the door. There could be a million reasons but for the foreseeable future stay clean. Frankly if it were me I would not grow or possibly even use depending on how severe the consequences are, in your area. If you can you really should try to move to a medical state. With so many states going medical there must be one close. Your wife did good buy her a wanted video game for coming through like that, LOL

That wasnt the police bruh, it would have went way different. Someone is just hip to what you do, was waiting for the easy grab. thinking your wife would be scared. good team tho. hope it all pans out.

Sure. They stole 4 cop cars and bought police uniforms to steal a couple of plants. Makes perfect sense.

Tuesday evening here somewhere over the rainbow. The police still haven’t returned, and I am really missing my girls, but better safe than sorry. This whole thing is really bothering me, thirty years I’ve come home every night and tended my girls, I know that no matter how stressed out I was I would decompress just taking care of them. When my late wife had breast cancer it provided her more relief and comfort than any of the pharmaceutical drugs. For me it allowed me to relax so she didn’t have to see me so worried about her. This lasted five years before she passed away. It really has become more than just about the high. More than just a hobby. I would say it is who I am. Is that a bad thing?

I think they showed up with so many units like a bust was going to be made was because most people just open their door to police, thinking they wont ravage the house like a dirty whore or because they think that just because the cops are there that they are all ready busted. Maybe by being nice and letting them in they are just hoping for a quick look around, but after the cops bring the dogs in and start rearranging the funiture and start clearing out closets, cubbards and crawl spaces looking for anything top bust you on, it's too late to ask them to leave and they will find anything with a team of cops and hours of time. They will open and uncover every material piece of your life like you are no one and it all means nothing to them, it's pretty devasting to watch, and then the psycho babble you have to listen to as they taunt and poke and prod your ass relentlessly while using family and friends against you, made up or real they dont care.

Grow something else, keep the lights going and the heat moving, make them think it's business as usual and see if they come back again. Simply shutting down and shying away for 6 months doesn't mean they will forget about you. Its' their job to bust you and they aint got nothing but time so a few months doesnt change much to them, youre still on their shit list.

80 flowering and 72 veg. Was it for personal use? I mean if you were... giving to someone else maybee some local dealers heard about it and tried to ripp you of. Or just scare you into stopping it. People talk... If you want to be sure, go to the police station and say that some cops were at your house but you don't know who and you want to find out. Do they have to release that information? Or just say that you think that impostors dressed as cops were in your area. At least you will know. It's weird that they should move so much logistics just on "Can we come in?" case. I mean so many scams were just relying you just assumming they were some sort of authority and let them do whatever they want. And they just hit the moment you were out? Tricky... I don't think police would have let slip a catch like that by warning you honestly... I don't live in the states, IDK how thing are there. But they didn't identified themselves to your wife? Don't you have a local police station? They shuold belong to that station. See if they are the same agents(maybee some fotos in the police station). Try too see what colors were the cars from your neighbour and see if they match the police cars where you live...

I hope for the best. But if you will not grow for a while anyway it wouldn't hurt to go to them. At least you will know something.

Hell no it's not a bad thing. I haven't been growing long but I sure have been smoking for a while and now that I grow I love mary so so much more. Thats why we are all here and sorry you had to dump your stash. I had a policeman come into my house looking for the previous owner but my wife was asleep in the bedroom so they didnt go into my closet or I would have been fucked. They were here for someone else not my plants so I didn't panic. Shewwwwww

anywayz with all that broski...i would concentrate on the WHY the cops showed...did u dispose of refuse with prints ...did u tell a new person..did u have an argument with a so called buddy that knew...did u have a fight with wife or mistress...think bro...seems like u got ratted, then they pull the nock and sniff...play it like they can smell it....your wife played it like a pro...good luck with that...really.

Crown vics are a dime a dozen at police auctions. Paint is cheap, uniforms are cheap.

A couple plants?

lol you know "couple" means two, right?
