Yep you can work with that space. You will want to build walls so you can insulate the space. Make sure when you do this you allow for ventilation around the outside of the room. You would be able to hook an exhaust fan to a roof hat, and no one would know you were venting there. An 8" line fits right in it, and gives you four times the capacity of a single 4" line. Intake could be as simple as a diffusure mounted in the ceiling below drawing air up to the room. Keep us informed, move forward with the plan if you can. VV

well i'm a fellow attic grower. i have a larger space to use in my attic though. what i have is a r/o system ran from the sink in the bathroom to the attic where the system is mounted. the biggest problem that you're going to run into is the heat fluctuation from day(when lights are on) and night. you're def. going to have to use some sort of ac unit. and during the winter a little space heater. i have a ac unit in a window in my room. i have a 5.5 ftx5.5 ftx 8ft room that i made with the black and white panda film. i have 2 1000 hps going, with a 8 in. vortex going thru the hoods and out a window with a carbon filter. then i have the ac unit set on 68, it keeps the room at a nice 76. good luck, it took me about 1 run to work out all the major bugs and i'm still learning. but with a room that big i grow 16 plants in 3 gl grow bags with coco and harvest around 2.75 lbs, this is my 3rd grow.
