Somewhat new to growing, need opinion..

Hey what's up, like the title says I'm a bit new to growing, I've been using the site to research what is needed to do but now I've ran into a problem. The leaves aren't turning yellow really, but instead the edges are brown, as if the sun burns the shit out of them. Until I get the money for indoor setup, I'm growing this plant outside. The temp has been changing, I live in socal and it went from 80+ to over 100 then to low 70's back the high 80s.. any input would be appreciated.

i don't think it's the weather.... it looks more like something is eating your plant....

it could definitely be from extreme temperatures, or maybe nutrient overdose or not enough nutrients. the best advice i can give you is to go to a bookstore and pick up the medical marijuana's growing guide, it tells u everything you would ever need to know

What do you think could be eating it, I spray pesticides on the plant but not very much just because I don't want to harm it.. Got any idea how much I should use or any other ideas on how to stop them?

no idea sorry man..... I am not fortunate enough to have outdoor plants..... so I don't need to worry about any of that.

Wow, looks like something maybe munching on it I must agree. If its outdoors it could be just about anything man. What sucks is you obviously can't watch it 24/7 so the culprit is like a ninja :( Then again being as young as they are you cetainly may have burned the poop outta them using the pesticide, even small amounts can hurt such a young plant, or if you use nutes too early will burn em baaaad. Sorry bro but I just don't know what to tell ya. Check your soil PH, check your water PH, flush em if you added any kind of nute until the PH of the drainoff is ok. Uhhhhh sheesh I'm totally out of options for you man :(

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm doing.. Usually I just read forums and put two and two together but I just had to ask. Thanks alot for the input bro.

Well, took those pics a few days ago, this morning woke up to come look at my baby, and seems to be recovering because I flushed it out and now I'm going to use 1/4 the nuts I was giving it, so I'm gonna assume it was just a crazy nut burn. Keep you guys posted if the problem consists..thanks again.

what kind of nutes doo you feed it? you should get something high in nitrogen. i use fish emulsion. Also, how do you plan on flowering if it's outdoor? Summer is just starting...and the days are getting longer. Of course you could always carry it inside to a dark place daily.

you know i thought of that but that would be to time consuming and any ways i planted it in the begining of may i plan on going for the gusto huge plant.veg for like 4 months. oh i use florilicious plus & flora nova grow.yo should check out the plant now nick its a lot better

Oh yeah!!! Fish emulsion is great also, it won't burn your plants and is high in nitrogen. Great idea, sorry I forgot to add that lol:oops: I use it all the time too. Guess Im just gettin' old :mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

Nice looking plant dude. my seedlings have started to pick up now that they're outdoors. my clone is moved outdoors and i think its recovering also. you said u plan on seeding your plant, with what male plant? u know u need a kush male 4 kush seeds, other wise you'll get a hybrid, right?

I'd be glad to help ya out mate as I am also growing in a closet. Just need to know a few things: How many plants are you growing? What stage are they at? Are you using soil or hydro? What type of lighting are you currently using? What type of nutes are you planning to use? <I can point you to some pretty good stuff if you need> Let me know and I will try my best to lend you a hand.:mrgreen:
