something sprouted but nothing was planted?

alright well all i have right now is just some strains im mothering till i get a new place and get situated in..

So Basically i got this clone from a dispensary less then a week ago.transplanted it into a bucket.

i go in to check on it today and i see 2 little leafs in the soil at the edge of the pott.

They seem to be attatched to each other and attatched to the soil.

im confused as to where it came from? i have no seeds at all.
the only thing i can think of is,one of the roots broke off of the clone during transplant(dont know if its possible to grow if that did happen)

i know its not good to have 2 in the same pott so im going to pull it out and the root

i gently removed a lot of soil around it and it was just one main root connect to it..for shits n giggles i put it in a lil cup with soil n light to see if it will still grow ...kinda wierd how it got there

I'm confused. any pics?

i took a crappy pic with my cell phone..ill try to take a pic with a camera..when i took it out of the pott,it fell out of the soil i grabbed..it was 2 leaves on a root..i didnt take a pic of the root i just put it back in soil in a cup

perfectly normal.. most soils have sum typ of grass seed in it..

grass, a weed. it nothing to be concwerd about. just pull it up and plant your seeds.

looked like cotyledons to me. it is true that lots of soil has some kind of seed in it, but that sprout looks a little like mj. under certain circumstances cloning can be done from root stock, so that is actually a possiblility, and the sprout would in fact grow cotyledons. i would leave it alone until it's old enough to be transplanted to its own pot. you may have bought 2 clones for theprice of one. win.

damn..well i grabbed a bunch of surrounding soil and it sepereated from the soil(root was kinda small)..but i put it in another cup with soil n some drips of water..now under the light..was going to see if it would survive still..

i took it out because i didnt know how big the roots where and didnt want it to interfear with my Holy Grail OG cutting from the cali connect.

the pic that i posted is it in the new cup.though i did cover up the root more..we shall see if it survives!!!

Being so early in its life, it looks to me to be a tomato sprout, though I could be wrong.

ill let it grow out a bit to see how it turns out,if it even survives.
