they ARE good.
They're called papaya lilikoi in HI.

1st pic is not what you have. #2 is yours and #3 is one of the best things to do with them. They are very good out of hand, too.

Don't really know. They grew wild in HI and everything is a perennial...tomatoes, peppers, eggplant.....

So I went ahead and did some transplanting of the passion fruit seedlings. I put three of them into a 20 gallon pot with a homemade trellis. The last four are each in a 5 gallon pot for now two outside with the other 3 and two in my flower room just in case we have a frost and I forget to cover everything I havnt lost everything. They have really grown the last couple days since these pics were taken.

interesting fruit ...
sometimes its worth it to wait that long, i know they will prolly me more like vines but i have a few mango trees, took a while but i get a large harvest every year , and ive never tasted fresh mangoes anywhere else every store bought one taste like water :shock: ,

I wouldn't mind growing a mango tree but I keep on buying stuff that needs dragged inside every winter and my garage already looks like an indoor forest over winter lol.

Not well. They freeze very easily. Only the most mature and established trees can make it through a hard freeze and still, all the new growth will get burnt.
