Someones previous Grow spot

So I used google earth to up some good places to have my guerilla grow this summer. I hiked all the way in to this spot and found out that it must have been a previous grow. Unfortunately I didnt bring my phone or a camera to take pictures but there were 15-20 black 3gl pots spread around this area.
Would it be safe for me to grow around this area this summer? It looks as if they have been there for a year or two

well if it's a know grow area they could come back and take your plants. i would find an original grow spot no a used one already. IMO

find an original spot, i had ppl that i didnt know looking into my spot because i didnt know it was known -_-

well i'd put a couple plants there just too see if it's being used or visited............but my main stuff wouldn't be anywhere near that spot that for sure................
