someone help me out?

okay so this is going to be my first time growing. i haven't begun yet because it is still a bit cool outside but has been warming up. i intend to grow in 3 gallon pots due to the fact that all the hydroponic equipment is way out of my budget right now. what i planned on using is just regular potting soil and eventually get some nutrients i'm figuring blood meal. i have been reading what i can for beginners but i cant find much for outdoor growing except for finding good spots and things that dont really pertain to the way i want to grow. i plan on germinating in about 2-3 weeks depending how the weather is so once the seeds have begun i can just place them in the pot. im fortunate enough to be able to get the plants sun from sunrise to sunset throughout the day. im aware that i don't have to water as much 2-3 days or when the soil is not even damp. some of my main concerns are humidity, bugs and the possibility of getting a hermie. only seeds i have are bag seeds and ive been getting mostly negative feedback about growing them and how they are likely to be unisex. so here are a few questions i have (and have tried to look up but couldnt find the answer or i'm just stupid to comprehend) i do have one good seed from either purple sticky punch or blueberry its one of those two that i do intend on growing as well.

1) is humidity bad? i read somewhere that the plant can rot if humidity is high and considering i'm growing outdoors and i live in the south thats something that has me concerned.

2) how to i repel bugs without harmful chemicals? i may not even have a bug problem but i would rather be a step ahead.

3) i tried looking this one up but didnt find the answer, but if for some chance i do get unisex plants can they still be harvested and smoked? i understand that female plants are the most desired but i just wanna know if their is a way to prune them or something to that affect or is it just a waste of time?

any feed back, tips, knowledge or even links to sites will be very much appreciated or even some input for some of you who have grown in pots i would like to hear about your experience.

you might be able to find things to repel bugs for a short period of time but not forever. humidity where i live is terrible i live in south as well so its gonna be like that unless you grow indoors which is what i would do.

man i wish i could grow indoors but during the summer a/c is always on and lack of space to have a set-up and money for equipment. would bringing them in at dusk benefit them or do nothing?

maybe, but you can get going for cheap if you dont want a big setup. you could build youself a cab and paint it flat white for under 50 bucks. you can get a 4 inch inline fan for 120, a 400w hps for 120 soil nutes etc i would say about 500 including everything.

if you dont need a 400w, you can get a 150 for 70

and something else, look on craigslist for things.

i would do some research on some strains that are mold resistent that might work for your area. Also if you plan on letting those plants grow the whole spring and summer and flower in the fall then you are gonna need something bigger than a 3 gallon pot. If you were to grow it for a month then start brining it in everynight for 12 hours of sleep you could use the 3 i did this last year and believe me at first you dont seem to mind brining your plant in everynight but then after awhile it becomes somewhat troublesome cause you have to be home the same time everynight to put her to bed it sucked had to be home at 9 every night for the two minute chore sucked when you had pussy you were getting then you had to put your real girls to bed that dont talk back and spend your money

if you want them smaller...then don't put them out or germ them until june....and top them couple times to keep shorter and bushier....don't starve them of sun to keep them smaller...just start later in the year
