The babes have been doing fine untill a week ago when they started losing fan leaves. They have been flowering for 3 weeks. They're under CFL's and in normal potting soil. The Ph is a little high: 7 but they have been managing to do great.

The fan leaves start showing brown tips an lose color untill they completely die. At first I thought it could be over fert, but I flushed them and still nothing. This problem has already fucked up many fan leaves an is slowly rising to the top.

If anibody has an idea of what cold be the problem I beg them to help me out before it's too late. I really wouldn't want to loose everithing after 2 months and a half of love and patience!

Thank you!

Yeah I know, but usually It's just a few leaves. My problem keeps growing every day from the bottom to the top!

Thanx Pauliojr, but the only thing in that link that looks similar to my leaves is a potassium deficiensy, and I don't think this is my case... do you think it's something to do with ferts?

It's gotta be if just the entire fan leaf is turning that color. Did it turn that color gradually? Like a little bit each day?

Here is an attachment of what mine looked like. I used 3 month slow release nutrient soil and the soil was going on 3 and a half. Everything was fine until this happened. Not sure what, but it had to be some kind of nute deficiency.

Nice baby u got there. the yellowing pretty much looks like mine. Almoust all of my leaves have slightly brown (burned??) tips. I tried flushing but didn't seem to help. I'm just scared because I still have about 4 more weeks to go so if the problem persists I'm afraid it will fuck up everithing.

Yes they turn yellow gradually. They all have a small brown tips and the fan leaves stat loosing the green gradually untill they are totally yellow and die. It kinda looks like a Nitrogen deficiensy...the only differences are the brown tips and the fact that they don't turn yellow starting from the tips. tey gradually compleatly yellow up.

Yellowing leaves like yours are, look normal to me with clfs and no trimming of the lower branches. Those lights won't penetrate that far through those leaves. The plant will protect itself by shedding the lower leaves so it will have enough strength to flower. Without additional light it will continue. You may want to consider giving them some high quality nutes for flowering. This will help you a lot. VV

I heard that swiching back to a high nitrogen fert will cause problems to the plant like slow or block flowering...is is true?

If I just leave it to grow with this problem will it influence the yield?

It is common for growers to start flowering and run into a N defiency.
As you switch to flowering, you also switch your nutes, but the plant isnt ready for the different nutes yet, as this is when it grows the most. It still needs its vegging nutes. Give 'em a dose of N and you'll be fine.
Peace

even in flowering they need N. only enough to keep leaves green, however you may want to gradually add it in small doses every other watering or whatever you feeding schedule is. this is important more so when switching photoperiods. also you should keep an eye on the ph everyday during these times, keep it closer to 6.3-6.8 for soil. and remember that underfeeding is much better then over feeding by far. if it looks like a nute def. make sure you did your homework on the problem before simply ADDING MORE. with soil (which i use) we have a buffer unlike hydro where mere seconds could be fatel to them. hope it helps
