so i have a few good soil grows under my belt for 3 years or so but have switch to coco and am having some problems. I'm doing a perpetual grow and my mothers and veg plants are fine, but when i flower i seem to get yellowing of the entire plant. red stems, green veins, starting at the bottom, stunted bud development. i recently started using a better ph meter as my tap water read 8.5 with the dropper tester and the meter reads 7.2. also, i have been adding botanicare cal mag recently. i assumed it was due to these two things, but a few weeks later i have the same problem. my tap water is about 140 ppm.
using Iguana juice bloom, sensi grow and other AN products (including Sensizyme - an enzyme). cal mag as stated before, ph water after nutrients to 5.8. it is a small space with 400w hps fixture but two computer fan ducts exhausting air and a sheet of glass for heat. i water every 3 days with settled tap water. strains include utopia haze, sour diesel, vanilla kush, laughing buddha, tangerine dream but they all have the same symptoms
the second picture is the left side, some really hurt plants all the way to the left . this is what happens when allowed to flower they should be done in a week. they get younger in flowering as they move to the right as seen by the yellowing of the ph, cal treated plants highlighted in blue. in the first picture you can see how the bud sites are still nice and green as the fans turn yellow.
thanks everyone, i have already learned so much from this site
