Some soil doesn't contain enough nutes to last a month

I was watching strain show and the guy said that soil comes with enough nutrients to last the plant a month without adding additional fertilizer. I tried that with FF Happy Frog and the plants eventually got stunted. So if you are using Happy frog, you may want to add nutrients at and earlier stage. Like around week 2 from sprout

Sometimes not even that long, depending....

But the thing is, you need to do transplants anyways, so you add additional nutes, when transplanting. Also, you can always top dress with more soil, add more microbes, to push the plant thru veg and flower.
