Some questions for experienced growers

I'm a legal home grower, and I used to work (indirectly) in a marketing company so I understand the premise of market research. And yet, you haven't given me a reason to answer these questions. Best of luck to you.
I understand. I get that this is out of left field - it's because it's really, really preliminary research. I'm really just trying to understand how home growers approach their grow, how they think, and if this product would solve a problem they have. If there isn't, my co. won't try to help bring it to market. I get that if I was the founder and this was my baby, there would be an obvious reason. Asking directly was my first shot and I got a few answers here & there, but it sounds like I'll need to dig into the forums to really understand. Thanks for the good luck! ;)

Your attempt at qualifying respondents is understandable, but since you are an unknown and you have entered a community environment, you're asking a lot both in terms of information and people's time. It appears that you have a service or product you are considering bringing to market. If you are a grower and you know why you think this product/service has value, perhaps with just a few focused questions you can speak on a peer level, and get a sense of whether others feel a need exists.

Fewer questions focused around a single topic might be less invasive and daunting to potential respondents.

I get you. Today is my read-this-and-other-forums-like-crazy day.
