some lighting questions

are you using cool tube becuase you have them already?


but i see what you wanting to do, x2 600w HPS and 1000w MH SOG IMHO
 
yes i allready have 3 new of the XL cooltubes that measure in at 30" x 25" x 7"

just wondering if it would be better to run 2 1000 watt lights or 3 600 watt light in the tent
 
balanced soectrum and light the way i said. 3 600w hps would be ideal rather than 3 1000w , save elec and get mor light distribution.
 
its just i wasn't sure but i thought (2) 1000w HPS in this tent would be awsome for the amount of lumanas in a small area but have also seen this same size tent set up with (3) 600w hps also, so that is what made me ask about it
 
i know i meant to say 2 1000w, but yeah they will produca about the same amount of light(3 600 compared to 2 1000) but the intensity from 3 600 will be better.

but like i said you should do x2 600w HPS and x1 1000w MH that would be the most ideal setup light wise. x3 600 would be next x2 1000w would be 3rd
i personally knowing what i know now and my growing style with shorter plants would run x6 400w bare bulb if i was going without co2 x3 MH x3 HPS
