Some Clear, Some Milky, & Some Amber...?

Just got my scope and after checking my girl, some of the tricomes are still clear, some look milky, and a small percent are amber. Should be close to getting done, day 58 since I flipped to 12/12. Critical Super Silver Haze in soil, under a 240 LED and 90 Bloom Light. First grow and not sure if she's done yet. Flower is suggested to last 65 - 70 days.

Throw some pics up of the whole bud, IMO you should wait until the pistils have receded into the calyx, then start checking for trichs. You can look at a plant and tell when its done with out checkig trichs. Just my .02

Thanks for the info. I was feeling it was a little early, going to wait at least a week. I'll check her again this weekend and may be chopping next week sometime. Ran into a problem 2 weeks ago, she was doing great, watered with regular nute schedule (Fox Farm), 2 days later all her leafs were curled up, since then the leaf tips are dry/crunchy,
and turning brown. The buds are still looking good, sticky with good tricomes, even the leafs are holding their tricomes.

Oh, I should have added...when I fed her before this problem started, I had just finished watering (with nuted) and letting the run off flow into the tray when my neighbor stopped by, so I didn't get to drain the tray until about 45 mins later. A lot of the run off was gone, assumed soaked back into the soil through the drain holes. I think she was over nuted and over watered. It took her an extra 2 days to dry to the point of needing water again.

Well, that's what these first grows are for, learn through your successes and your mistakes.

She is getting close. I squeeze my buds to see how dense they are, I try to let them fill in as much as possible before I chop. they look about a week out or so here, and nice looking to.

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Took another look tonight and I think she is ready. About 20-30% Amber. I'm thinking about chopping tomorrow. Question: Will it cause stress to cut some of the buds and let others go for another 4 or 5 days? Some of the smaller ones look like they still have clear/milky tricomes with no amber showing yet.

I'm looking for a little couch lock out of it. More of a body high/pain relief. So I hope this works. This is my first grow and only ran the one plant, planning my next grow with four plants, maybe 2 different strains.
