HI ALL!!

I HAVE SOME SEEDLINGS IN SOME 16 OZ CUP. I LOVE THESE LITTLE CUPS AND HELP ME KEEP CONTROL OF THE VOLUME I HAVE IN MY TENT.

1. HOW BIG WILL THEY GROW IN THESES CUPS? HOW MUCH LONGER DO YOU THINK BEFORE I HAVE TO TRANSPLANT A PLANT THIS SIZE?

2.WITH A PLANT THIS SIZE DO YOU THINK I WOULD BE ABLE TO TOP THEM WHILE THEY ARE IN THESE CUPS? I WOULD BE SUPER CONVIENIANT IF I COULD GET THAT DONE WHILE THEY ARE IN THESE CUPS, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

3. I KNOW THIS MIGHT BE PUSHING IT, BUT IS IT POSSIBLE TO THROW THESE BAD BOYS ON 12/12 WHEN THEY ARE A LITTLE BIGGER TO SEX THEM? THAT WOULD SAVE ME TONS OF ROOM...PLEAE EVERYONE LET ME KNOW..PLEASE +REP FOR THE GOOD HELP!

Ive gotten seedlings from friends about 16 inches tall in 16oz cups, I'd wait till they get a little bigger before topping and sexing. Nice garden btw!

Just to give you some perspective, I did 13 seeds in solo cups, and 1 in a 1 gallon smart pot. Before the 3rd set of leaves even came up on anything, my seedling in the 1 gallon pot was twice as big, and twice as thick. All the seedlings in cups were still pretty limp and i had to use wire to keep them standing straight from stretch, the 1 gallon guy was stiff as a pencil. couldn't even bend it for training without snapping it. This was before I had even contimplated transplanting from the cups. They are still growing in the cups, but there was definitely a noticable difference in growth, as I see roots along the sides of my cups (they are clear) and I assume those aren't able to absorb much from the edges.

how long they can live in those cups and how big they will get is all dependent of the plant the only way to know when to transplant is to watch for growth to stop or at least slow down.

you can top whenever you want but most people say to wait for the forth node but it doesnt really matter what pot its in

you can switch to a 12/12 cycle sex the plant then switch it back to veg if you want but it will slow down growth and is stressful on the plant but what you could do (though it will take up more space) you can clone your plants and then put the clone in 12/12 while your mother plant just continues to grow in veg cycle and then they dont slow or get too much stress

in fact you could just top your plant then use the top as a clone, clone it and get some roots then sex the top and youll be killing two birds with one stoner
