You definitely can, but it's easier to run into over feeding, rootbound issues, and problems in general. Not to mention the yield isn't a whole lot. It's amazing what going to a #1 size container from a solo cup does. When I did SoG, I would transplant from solo cup to 1 gallon, veg for a week more until the plants were 8 - 10 inches tall, then put them into flower. Harvesting 5-10 every couple of weeks usually getting around 6-8 OZ's a month. lol

Just sexed my SOLO cup plants and out of the 4 that had showed sex 3 are females. Not a bad ratio so far. Hopefully it continues.

2 More showed their balls to me today. Have 4 more to sex. Out of 6 that have shown sex 3 were females and 3 were males so far.

Update. I ended up with 4 Girls and 6 males. Here are a few pics of them flowering. I didn't want to move the light to take pics so next time the pics will be better. here they are though.

Here is how they are looking. Pretty stretched out but since I added my DIy reflector and 8 32 watt CFL's they have stopped stretching and are flowering pretty nice now.
