Solo Cup Christmas Tree: Who's In?

I'm gonna join, got the cup ready. Have the setup already outlined Here. Basically lava rock and 5 holes at the bottom of cup. Filled with 9:4 ratio promix/happy frog. Leaning towards the Bruce banner #3 auto or zkittlez auto, thoughts?
I'd choose the one with the shorter flowering time. Solo grows are fun but can be tricky. While they don't take up a massive amount of room, They require much more attention then a normal plant. That's just my opinion though.

I wanna say I’m down, I just gotta figure out where to do it. I have a week or two before chop in the tent and I also use it for drying so that’s not gonna work. I’ll try to figure something out asap
I am exploring the idea of setting a flip date for photo growers. So, even if it takes a good week to start, that's when most people will just be starting to get things going themselves.

After much deliberation I will sacrifice a Barneys Farm, Malana Bomb auto. I choose this for shortest time, and shortest height. Hope this doesn't turn out for the worse as I don't have a lot of good beans just hanging around. I'll have fun either way though, so totally worth it! In the dunk she goes.

Yep. I'd put dark tape around the plastic though. I'm not 100% sure, but I remember reading how sun hitting the soil can start mold and a bunch of other problems. Like I said though, I am not 100% sure though.

Fair enough ill just tape it up anyway. Dunno of ill crack a cple reg seeds or sacrifice a fem seed instead of rooting round with the reg seedling incase it turns out male.

"Despite growing underground, largely in darkness, roots emerge to be very sensitive to light. Recently, several important papers have been published which reveal that plant roots not only express all known light receptors but also that their growth, physiology and adaptive stress responses are light-sensitive.Dec 12, 2014

Quick googlefu netted this.

Cannabis is one odd plant. Water it too much in soil and you'll kill it. Grow it in water and it thrives. What a weird plant she is.

guess if hydro isn't oxygenized well there will be rootrot as well. Soil needs airation so if someone decides to give water as often as in coco's there will be anaerobe microbes present in the inner parts of the pot which will turn the roots to slime and that'll swiftly kill a plant bcause itll suck in toxins.
