Solismax66 6" hood--any users/thoughts?

so ive acquired a few more patients and have already doubled my flower room and lighting. now it time to upgrade my hoods. im currently running 2 Apollo cool tube XXL hoods in my flower room. they were ok for my old 4x4x6.5 tent, but with my current 5x10x7 tent, the coverage just isn't adequate enough. running 1000 watt lights is out of the question as I would have to buy bulbs/ballasts/power costs. the hoods ive been looking at are the Solismax66 6" hood. the spread pattern covers a 5x5 area, and I should be able to keep the hood lower by 6"?? vs my current hood. heres the link http://mbferts.com/SolisMax66-6in-Air-Cooled-Reflector-AIR-TIGHT-Hinged-Glass-1050.htm
I can purchase 2 hoods from them for 309.00 shipped. my local stores wants 205 to 215.00 each.

anyone have any insite, good or bad on this hood? or can recommend a hood that's equal to this one in performance and price?

I have Solis Max Ballast and bulbs, but I happen to find it interesting that nobody out there is using their hoods that I hear of. I was interested in them myself.

imo, its hard for more growers to justify paying 200.00 for just a hood w/mogul socket+cord. even tho this hood works for 400/600/1000 systems. pulling the trigger this afternoon on 2 of them.
