Greetings!
This is not my first grow, but this is the first time I'm using LEDs. The SolarSystem 550 was just too tempting. However, I couldn't find a lot of informations or grow logs about it, so I though it'd be interesting to document everything and share it with everyone.
Grow is officially starting next Monday 23th. Right now, the seeds are almost done germinating, I can see they sprouted a bit so I will move them to the pots in the next 12 hours.
There will be time-lapses as well, I've set-up a webcam with SkyStudio, this is my first time doing this as well!
I will post the first pictures when the lights goes on Monday. In the meantime, a few informations about what I'll do :
Strain
Critical Kush by Barney's Farm
LED system
1 x Solar System 550, supposed to be equivalent to a 600W HPS.
Grow Tent
1M x 1M x 2M
Medium
Soil Biobizz Lightmix
Nutrients
Organic Old Timers Veg & Bloom mostly, and a few extras, I haven't decided yet and will update later on.
Method
ScrOG with 5 plants
Spectrum
This will be the biggest challenge of this grow. I will have the ability to completely customize the spectrum, and it's very new for me! I also had troubles to find informations, so we will see how it goes.
I will also simulate Sunrise & Sunset. No idea if it will have any real effect, but I really like the idea (after all, we do try to emulate the sun as much as possible!)
