Should I go with Keloggs patio plus $5 or Fox Farm Ocean Forest $10? Read about Kellogg and heard nothing but good results and it's almost the same as FFOC. This will be outdoor grow with clones not seeds. Please anyone using kelloggs on outdoor grow how did it go for you?

Why vermiculite that's for starting seeds and germination only
The whole idea that Vermiculite is only good for "Purpose A" and Perlite is only good for "Purpose B" is fairly new and totaly over-rated. Some of us old timers have been using the two materials, interchangably, for well over two decades (some of us still do!). One may work a little better at a given task - but to say either material is only good for one function just proves that you lack the practical experience of having actualy worked with the materials in question for any other purpose!

Well I defiantly meant no offense to the old timers, but lets be clear on one thing, just because you used both and it work doesn't mean that's how it's suppose to be used. As far as working with the materials I use them both on a regular bases but they clearly explain what the general purpose of it is on the back of the bag. And vermiculite says for seed germination that's why I asked why would you use it. Clearly your response was more biased towards personal experience, not off product purpose. It really boils down to growers choice, and my post was merely a question.

This post is full of bias and devoid of science.

You can use a material for 100 years and still have no damn clue how it works.

Just because something works doesn't make it a good idea. I could steer my car with my feet but I don't because there's better ways to steer.
