All you said will work, Ph is fine, just measure your run off PH and make sure it's withing range. 6500 for Veg is cool, 2700 for flower is cool. small HPS will add much more to your yield. Try to make a homemade hood outta some Mylar seet for those CFLs, big difference compared to just hanging them on top of plants.

your going to want a little more cfls then that i suggest about 8 23w 6500k Which at my walmart you can get a box of 12 for 18 dollars and one larger light on top ( like 55w or 68w if your going cfl ) which i found at homedepot for 16 for 68w 6500K light you can use Y spliiters or socket plugs to put more in there

What makes you think a reflector of any kind helps with low watt cfl's? You need to have those lights not more then 2" off the tops of those plants. Just do the math and you'll get my point. reflector will be 3-4 inches above the light so right there you loose 25-50% of the lights power now the reflector is now like 6 or 7 inches off the plant at best. So you loose another 25-50% of that 50% hitting the reflector. There is more loss in the reflector not sure what that is. Just saying..

soil like that will work great. i would buy some espoma lime and or a really fine dehydrated lime. how big is your grow area? how many plants would you like to grow under what amount of light? buy a ph testing kit of amazon. it should come up with ph up, ph down, testing drops. that will keep you out of trouble with ph problems. venation is a necessity alont with odor control. i would get a inline fan and carbon filter that is a little bigger then you space. id also look into ionizer of ebay. i got a little one ebay for $25 and it really does work great but if you only get one get the carbon filter. as far as lighting goes i wouldnt skimp. if you do cfl be sure its enough light and the right color/spectrum for the right time of growth. if you aready have a inline and carbon filter id get a mh or hps light with a cool tube. people get buy with just using hps and it doesnt put off as much heat as mh. if your in a small space that could get hot easy. depending on how many plants you want. you should look into led lights like pro-grow. iv got a pg180 that works great for my smaller grow box. wish i would have gone with the pg 260-260x. im in a 2 by 3 box with one pg18, one 90watt ufo and my heat stays from 72 to 82 and humidity stays from 25-32. i kind of want to get a 150hps with a cooltube vertically and use my pg180 horizontally but with my temps hitting 85 when i have a 45w cfl in there too im afraid the hps cooltube will be too hot. honestly the pg180 creates way fatter buds then i thought and they are strait covered in crystals but feel like a small hps and pg180 would just explode thc bomb genetics. also hydroponics might sound difficult but its not look into building a simple areoponics or bubble ponics. soil gets old and dirty. hope this helps.

I have 60" H 24" D 24" W growbox. I have only one plant and because of this i thought to use CFLs. Somewhere i have read that 80-100 watt is good for one plant. As for the venation, i don't have carbon filter but i have 2 simple fans, one for blowing and one exhaust. also i have one more question: how much should be humidity in growbox and what i should do if the actual humidity and temperature doesnt meet the requirements?

Check out craigslist. I would up getting a 400, a 600, some meters, and some nutes for less than a couple hundred.

I just picked up a 400w hps, 4 a 4 inch inline, small 8 inch filter and a timer for 50$. I got it mainly for the fan and I am going to use the light for back up for my 1000 hps. I also picked up another 400w wing hood, ballast, and bulb for 35$. I read about people saying they cant afford good lighting and I dont understand why. I am near a big city in Florida but it cant be just here that these deals are available.

Mix up the spectrum with AT LEAST 31 watt CFLs. Two 6500k to one 2700k for veg..vice versa for flower. Get some cheap Miracle Grow potting soil. Veg 18/6 and keep bulbs 2" away at the most. Get the MG ferts too. That's the poor mans grow that works!!!
