I've heard that changing to stronger light is a good thing. I run a 1000w in my flower room, keep your 1k at the very least 18 inches from the top or it will destroy the chlorophyl at the top of your plant =(IMG_20110524_093306.jpg

but you have never tried yourself????? ive heard and heard but iwant to know ifits gonna stress them drastically poss to herms.... from someone thats tried it

I would hold off right now...not because the 1k would cause any problems with the plants themselves but because switching over from 400 to 1000 requires more than just the light and ballast themselves. More money has to be spent getting the grow space ready for the 1k. Fans, ducting, hood(sometimes), A/C all get more expensive and more needed to more light you run. Personally I went from cfls to 400 in one grow and did not notice and ill effects. If you want to totally redo your grow room, then go for it with the 1k, just don't expect it to be as easy as setting the light above the plants. I was shocked at what needed to be done when I set up a 1k. Good luck.

eh.. honestly.. depends.. on ur exhaust and specs what u got going on? i went from a 400 to 1000 2 weeks into flowering.. and it actually worked out great.. the buds were much denser but i have a cool tube for the 400 and 1000 .. so i didnt have to change much at all.. just out with the light.. but when i switched from 1 1000 to 2 1000s i had to make a active intake instead using passive.. from the exhaust... but anyways today it was 90 outside were i live.. and wen the lights came on .. tonite it was cooler in the room then outside lol cool tubes are the best way to GO if u want to squeeze alot of light into a small room.. and if u dont have height.. u can scrog or sog it.
