Soil vs Hydro organic taste?

So, I was wondering, how much of a taste difference is there between soil and hydro organic?
Im big into getting the best taste and all, but its my first grow and wanted to know is there such a big difference in taste?
and is it ok for medical to have hydro organic?
Is all bud in cancada and amsterdam coffee shops made with soil?

they are grown in both man.
in toronto there's like 3 or 4 coffee shops and they have nug grown in both soil and hydro. i recommend the vapour lounge or roacherama if anyones ever in the area lol.

hydro got the better taste in my opinion

Taste depends a lot on the strain and the quality of the grow, as well as how well it was cured.

Some joker had posted earlier how he didn't like the taste that HPS lights gave the bud, that's why he used CFL. LMAO. I have heard of rationalization but that's absurd.

What makes you say that, any proof of this?

I want proof as well.

Amount of thc per type of light is impossible. You could grow a plant with leds and have the same thc content as a 1000000 hps or a 4387234923847 cfl.

Hps produces more THC because it is more intense light! You can use a shit load of CFL,s and still not get the same quality Bud! A 1000watts of Cfl lighting @ 6700k produces 16,000 lumens. One 400wHps bulb produces 50,000 lumens. Lumens is the light the plant sees. So how can you really compare! I have used both and Cfl's are great for veg, but not for flower! Taste wise. If you use the same nutes and flush both you get the same flavor and smell in hydro and soil. The difference is yeild. You can not out produce Hydro!

LED's are new and quite expensive for the frequency needed to grow pot. A Digital Ballast will light HPS and MH bulbs and is the best bet for the money for now!
