Soil to Hydroton.... possible?

I've read somewhere that you can rinse your roots carefully until they are clean and then you can move this plant to a hydro setup? anyone had success doing this?

I started my seeds in a small soil container and when they were about 6" tall moved them to rock wool cubes and then to pellets. let the roots soak in water for a while and gently washed off most of the soil. they are growing well and are about 10" tall now.

i have 2 former clones i grew in soil and wasnt happy with how they were starting to flower, which was single cola, so they were rinsed off and re-vegged in a dwc and are currently about 60cms tall and doing very well with a dozen or so nice buds coming up and they have also given off a few clones

can i cut off some of the root mass? or does this stunt them too much?

up up still wondering if i can cut some of the roots off to make cleaning and transplanting easier???

yeah it'll be fine .. a mate of mine did the same and the roots and plant recovered very nicely
