Soil to coco

Hey all just a quick question. I got a clone off a mate that was planted in soil. I’m only familiar with growing in coco so I re potted it into coco/perlite mix but didn’t break off all the soil around the root ball. So now when watering what should I be ph’ing at seeing as there is still soil around the roots.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Why don't you just rinse off the soil?

How much soil are we talking about here? Enough that you could grow it with what's there without coco?

Na definitely not enough that it could do without the coco. Probably a ball 6inches diameter left around the roots. The roots looked pretty skinny and fragile and some of them were breaking off as I was breaking the soil away, hence why I left the soil closest to the base of the stem there.

I washed the soil off my two small plants 10 days ago. Was sick of the overwatering issues in soil. They were sick and yellow and miniature now look at them.

I start seeds in the small 2 x 2 nursery pots of soil. Once they have decent roots they go into coco and I treat like coco. The small amount of soil doesn't effect anything.
