Soil Suggestion from a Big Box Stores?

Hey guys looking into getting a soil from home depot or do it best wally world or something like that.........do have any brands you could recommend or have tried. im looking for something that would be great for some bag seed i got. im okay with having to add nutrients but i wish not to order online and theres no hydro-shops around town.

These are some I've tried and worked well. Soilcycle and Supersoil.

pretty sure your not gonna find pro mix at any big box store. You def wont find fox farm at any of the stores you've mentioned.

for the best results, go to your local nursery, they can generally order anything you want....should be there by the time they have their next delivery. Might pay a few extra $'s though.

If you HAVE to have something RIGHT NOW. look for something thats organic, with NO time released nutrients.

promix hp and sunshine mix#4 are not soil.

That Kellog Patio Plus works well for 5$. Works alright by itself. But I amend 1 bag with some extra perlite. 2 lbs worm castings and half cup each of bat poop high in N and P. Hope this helps.

Home Depot used to sell it, and yes technically it's not soil, but a great grow mediuim (as is Sunshine's line) for cannabis or for anything else that grows in neutral ph soil.

I have never seen it at home depot...but then again I may go there once every two years, and usually not for gardening supplies. I'm not doubting growing in it, I used to use pro mix #4 for a couple cycles.

I just felt that if he was to go buy it, he may not know he will be using much more nutes then he would in a regular soil mix.

i checked out home depot they didn't have promix hp or sunshine mix#4

but i did find a nursery about two towns away that carries fox farm... they also carry black gold. how is black gold vs fox farm?

i already decided to go with fox farm and transplanted my girl(?) yesterday

I'd say the Ocean Forest is the better deal, but you could always buy both and mix em together. Part of my super mix included a bag of black gold with 3 different fox farm soils

any good organic soil like stasted befor with no time released nutes
