Soil or Coco?

I used to use GHE FloraMicro & FloraBloom with modified Lucas formula (h3ad's 6/9), but didn't feel like messing with pH meters any longer so I changed to Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect Sensi Coco nutrients, never have to adjust or measure pH again.
The Lucas formula is what I found when I Googled the KISS method, which I guess is the entire method haha. Good to hear that works! I was looking at canna A&B, not sure if it's the same as Perfect Sensi, but since I'm on the budget I'll be doing the Lucas formula for the first few grows til I can grab up something a bit different. Appreciate the input psyphish!

i used it with dyna gro foliage pro veg and flower and only needed calmag a couple times during veg @ 1ml/gallon - remember calmag is like a food source all it's own so i prefer not to use it at all.

dyna gro is cheap as fuck and very concentrated, so fuck lucas. all you need is dyna gro foliage pro and dyna gro protekt all through veg and flower

Does dyna gro swing the pH bad? Not that it'd be much of an issue really if I'm using pH up and down, just curious! Haha only reason I'd go Lucas is it seems simple for a first time grow and to get a basic understanding for what I'll be doing later on down the road. Is using dyna gro just as easy for a first timer? I plan on feeding/watering together so it keeps things fresh for the roots and medium to prevent build ups. Thanks for giving me your 2 cents! Much appreciated!

Here's a few organic bottom buds harvested today from soil noob. Maybe soil is not as sexy, it's slower and had less root mass But it's dependable, easy to learn and being organic, never flushed, pH'd or over fed. Keeping it simple right.

Nice but... My Promix is never flushed (although every water is done to run off), never PHed (I have checked my water source PH a couple times) and I feed so little, mine are never overfed.

Very nice! Can't argue results! My only concern would be overwatering my plants in soil, and I know some soil can get costly. If I can use a medium at least twice without needing to buy more or have to worry that I might have overwatered that's a win in my book. I do plan on using soil at some point just so I can get a feel for all mediums and experiment to find out what works best for me. Very beautiful buds though! Let me know how she tastes!

dyna gro is as simple as it gets. if you get the foliage pro and protekt (only 2 bottles you need from them veg to flower and has all the micro and macronutrients you need) you just use them at a 1:1 ratio during veg and 1:4 during flower (protekt:foliage pro). With the protekt added (it's just a silicon supplement) your ph stays extremely stable - less than .2 a week in a reservoir.

Dyna gro Foliage pro is your base nutrient - it has everything essential to the growth of the plants we love. You know your plant is getting everything it needs with this, so only thing you need to dial in is the amount per gallon. If you use this in coco, you most likely won't even need cal-mag...i didn't.
Dyna gro ProTekt is a silicon supplement - it makes your plant more flexible, and drought resistant (some say pest resistant also).

Foliage Pro brings your ph down, protekt makes ph go up. Once you can find the best ratio for the water you're using you can probably ditch the ph up and down because it comes out right between 5.8-6.2. I've never tried lucas formula, but it doesn't get much easier than dyna gro and the results speak for themselves.
