soil mix

O.K. I have used soils straight out of the bag with nutrients premixed before but I want to make a simple effective soil mix..Any1 have any mixes they would recommend..I have already been to FAQ so please don't tell me to go there..I already have

expert gardening perfect mix soil. It says it feeds up to 9 month with a NPK of 0.10-0.08-0.06

Plain potting soil

perlite

blood meal 12-0-0

what else should I get and what is a good mix for veg..indoors

I think you asked this same question a few days ago..correct?

OK...let's go over it again... DITCH the blood meal! If it causes you problems down the road you CANNOT do anything about it once it's in the mix. It's wayyyy too hot and will probably burn the plants.

I never use premixed/ferted soils for the same reason as I described above.

The perlite/vermiculite ratio mogie gives is a good one. You want the mix to feel 'light". This will promote good root growth and a healthy plant.

mix it up..plant em up..and rock
