Soil Conditioner

I'm going in DYI Smart Pots for some of my plants and directly into the grown with others. I was going to make my own mix with Pro-Mix HP and amend that = Very expensive. But I came across this E.B. Stone Organics and know someone who works at the nursery who can get me a discount.
What do you guys think of this mix?

Soil Booster
An all organic soil conditioner for mixing into flower beds and vegetable gardens prior to planting. Makes soils easier to work, helps loosen compact soil, conserve moisture and improve soil aeration.

Contains Fir bark, chicken manure, composted mushroom soil, earthworm castings, volcanic pumice stone, bat guano, kelp meal and feather meal.

I'll probably add some lime to that mix.

LOL...Did you use heavy gauge wire? Mines pretty light weight 14 or 16 gauge wire kind of rubber coated or something and I have some good wire cutters..Went through that like butter.

I can get that EB Stone stuff in mentioned in my first post for $11.00 for a 2.8 Bale. Has everything already in it. I'm taking my Pro-Mix back.

Getting Psyched for next month.

it's 14 gauge...but my wire cutter were shitty pliers..and my hands are bitchmade little punks....
i got 3 cf of the FF conditioner for around $10...
also i used it on a older plant...but from the stuff in it i dont think it would be too hot...
i would probably do half and half...

You end up with enough liner? My situation changed and I didn't need as many pots..I have a shitload of liner left. I'd donate it to you if you are in need.

that sounds amazing, but look at it to see how woody it is. if its a lil woody that cant hurt just mix it with pete, perlite and lime. or just mix in pro mix
