Soil buffer

Hi guys this is a burning question thats doing my head in and everyone seems to avoid answering it. What I want to know is if my PM soil pH is 4. I know that's to low but I'm told it's OK because there are buffers in the soil so my question is do I need to bother checking pH of soil as it is always going to read a lower reading or if I still do need to check it how am I going to know the true reading with the buffer included if it don't show on the pH tester.

Any help here with solve my headache thanks in advance !

If the plants you are growing are in soil, don't worry about ph. A thriving soil food web will keep the soil ph where it needs to be.

PH swings are more problematic in hydroponic grows.

My current, undocumented on this web forum, grow is in amended PromixHP and feed the soil food web and mix foliar sprays using plain tap water.
