Soil and Perlite

I just went out and got some Perlite to add to my soil... I just need to know the amount to put in...

For some reason in the back of my head I'm thinking 3 parts soil and 1 part perlite... someone let me know if this is good, or what

Thats would work. it will just add more drainage. I use 50% coco 50% perlite

i use 1/3 perlite to 2/3 soil some use 50/50. the idea is to get more oxygen to the roots so use as much as you can get away with with your nutrient regime
