SOG... with autoflowers? la diva and fastbud!

Hey guys, i have 5 auto flowers about 1 week from sprout, under a 400 watt hps. I was wondering if i can do a scrog set up with a net and what not with them to increase the yield... and also, they are in 3 gallon bags with ffof soil, should i be looking at something around an ounce per plant?
Also, should i be using molasses with these autoflowers soon?

You know what bro, Ive had so many variations on auto flowers, Ive had some that turned into 2 foot plants, and other that turned into one fat solid bud that only ended up being a foot high...so scrogging might not be for you. If i were you id just run it how they are, autos are already designed to stay short and bushy so scrogging is a little unneeded. As for the soil, 3 gallons is plenty and yes you should use molasses during the whole cycle. I usually use around a tablespoon the first few weeks (the beneficials in the soil love it, its like steroids to them) then after oh...the third week FLUSH THE FUCK OUT OF IT!!! Then continue as normal but with 2 tablespoons of molasses. I would stop using it 4 days before harvest, i know it pumps up your buds like big stripper tits but it will make them taste like Iron. also whats your light hood setup? is it one of those 400 completes that are all in one hood or is it a ballast and hood separate?

Oh also, If you got CFLs....USE EM! Use daylight ones though, most people say mixed spectrum during flowering isnt needed, but It keeps you plants greener, healthier, and happier. Hps is so brutal on a plants tissues, so the blue will keep things someone in balance.

Hmm.. i dont currently have any cfls at the moment but i cann get some.. and i got my light from ebay.. the light and the ballast are separate. And yes i did decide to not scrog. I will start with watering with molasses tomorrow.. So far the plants have just been drinking straight water and are on theyre second week and no signs of preflowers yet.. just switched from 24/0 to 20/4. I used ffof and i did see some nute burn off the bat so im sure i wont have to use any nutes for at least a couple weeks.. do you think the water solubles from foxfarms are worth it with autoflowers? Has anyone seen improved result?.. i have the liquid trio

If your using autos go 24 the whole time. And yeah Some strains are more sensitive to the nutes right off, I sometimes plant into a 4 oz pot using coco or some other inert media and after about a week, I will VERY CAREFULLY transplant into the new and final pot with the ocean forest or happy frog. You want there to be maybe a couple roots showing out the side of the pot so that way it can gradually work its way into the new media with out burning or stress. and god yes they are worth it, just be very very very sure to flush with something like clearex. I would use the open sesame in about a week then start the feeding schedual as normal.
