Ya 11l r probably ‘3gallon’ pots.
Square 1gals are the way to get the most plants in a SOG.( 4per sq ft)

Whats your actual question? Is it whether 11L pots are big enough to flower in?

I normally do sog in 1 gallon but

this grow, I'm doing 24 plants in a 3x2, 4 strains, in 1/2 gallon square pots with capillary mat underneath.

Starting them from seeds, training them shorts, uncut branches, and gonna veg them to 8 weeks.....I think its doable.

5 weeks from seeds with about 8-10 nodes

I only run s.o.g. style. 4x4x4 rockwool cubes. 0 veg. 141 in a 4x4 flood table. Once they have decent enough roots showing they go straight into the rockwool plug and straight into the cube with 0 time in between each step. Once in the cube I give them 5-7 days or until roots show out of the bottom of the cube and than flip. Works everytime for me.

What kind of yield do you get in a 4x4?

I cut all side branching also.
My current setup is actually an experiment in side branching but in controlled growth

6 weeks from seeds, more or less 9 nodes, less than 8 inches tall, no topping.

also just did a major defoliation

Training them small in veg but in a structure that I want the plants to be.

I've gotten 10-14 oz. This Mimosa isnt a heavy yielded but it checks off on everything else and people are always asking for it. In the 4x4 I have a 3x3 flood table. In my 5x5 tent I have a 4x4 flood table and the smallest amount I've yielded was 23 zips. I'm still new to the s.o.g. but I'm sure 2 lbs isnt far away. And that was with a 600 watt led from HLG. I plan on adding a other 320 watts of l.e.d. next run to the 5x5
