first, i wanna say this forum is very informative and flat out awesome! im totally new to growing and would like to start big. i plan on starting off with 6-10 mothers and cloning as many as i can cut. this grow room is approximately 10X18, 8ft ceiling. i know being a newb i should start with a smaller project first, but i wanna go big. first person to design me a aeroponic system including nutrients, lighting, and anything you can think of... gets $100 via paypal. im an ex smoker that is obsessed with the beauty of marijuana. i wanna be the green crack/ super silver haze/medijuana guy. a weed hero lol.

p.s. i own the book growing elite marijuana and have downloaded several videos.

Growing MJ. Lesson 31. Throwing money at it is not always the best solution. Seriously though, there are plenty of examples for DIY setups in this forum, do you have an idea yourself already what type of system you'd want? Even though you are willing to pay for it, you probably aren't going to get all the advice you need from one person. There are so many ways this is going to fail....! Books dont mean shit and a aero sog of this size lol.

if theres any hope of you knocking this out of the park its in ebb&flow flood tables not (aero)

Let me help you right off the bat--
1st, you need to set up 2 rooms.. one for moms and vegging plants, and one for flowering.. the problem is-- you didn;t KNOW that you can't flower your plants where your Moms are... so you need to learn and read A LOT before youstart... gives ya something to do while you wait for seeds.

You can grow under 600w hps 6-8 small plants per light in DWC easy and inexpensive and expect 3-4 oz per plant ONCE YOU GET IT DIALED IN!

For Moms-- You need to do SOIL if you plan to keep them long term, OR use 15gallon totes and the largest net-pots you can get for DWC Moms... their roots WILL get choked off otherwise.

Learn to grow sprout to harvest before you start your Moms- and understand-- it will be at least 6-8 weeks before you can take clones- PLUS you won't even know if the Mom's are good producers, have bag appeal, clone well etc. until AFTER you do it for a full grow-- meaning several MONTHS before you cull the moms and get the strains you want to go with.

This is NOT a fast project, or one you just "do"... it can take people several tries to get a successful grow-- all kinds of crap can (and does) happen... Bugs, diseases, power-outages, bad genetics, Hermies, nutrient issues, and on and on...

IF you really want to "learn it all' it isn't something you can do just here on the board... PM me if you want some good links and names of good publications that'll get you going...
save that $100 for a few good books on growing--K? ;)

thanx for the advice. so... my best bet is to find a high potent/high yield mixed strain, plant in soil(keep mothers in soil), then clone hydro? im thinking AZAZA strain is best. i'll take a gamble and buy the AZARA strain. have 5 mothers and clone from there. how much yield would i expect from 24 AZARA plants in 9X9 grow tent with 4 1000 watt lights?

Ebb n flow is the way to go. Critical kush is great too under 600w sog in ebb n flow 5x5x5 pot from rooted clone they will be falling over from from bud weight by week 7 and lower branches dropping by week 9.

In a 9x9 should do 72 plants from rooted clone in 5x5x5 pots in two 4x4 ebb trays with coco and 2 1k lights. Just add water/nutes every few days. 9 weeks 2+ pounds easy.

wow... that critical cush is no joke. looks bag worthy to! one question: i thought each plant should spaced out 1 ft apart. from the looks of the 5x5x5 ebb and flow pots, there about 6" apart

wow threads like this make me sick as im sure it does many other growers like me who have spent years upon years of researching and the researching never stops.. learn to be a do it yourselfer and build your system custom to urself.. asking for other people to do the research for you and paying them to design a room for you is nonsense.. you need a full knowledge of every aspect in growing before you even germ your first seed and even then you will still have years of research until you can think you have it dialed in.. im a firm believer in you get out of it what you put into it.. so if you dont want to do the research and put in the time like every other succesful grower than you minase well stick to buying bags.. use the forums for help and advice on certain questions not a general question like who will build my grow for me.. not trying to be an ass or start an argument just frustrated the shit out of me when people try to take the easy way out and think they can learn everything over night! i spend hours upon hours everyday and into the night researching and figureing out whats going to work best for me.. dont take advice from 1 person.. take advice from several people several sites and compile it and use it to create a setup that works for u! i truly hope you take the time to put in the hard work and effort to research to produce the best meds that you possibly can! good luck and happy growing! P.S. like i said not trying to piss u off or have u flame me just putting in my 2 cents and trying to help u out for the future of growing!!

These guys are right, it's hundreds of hours of study before even starting, then hundreds of hours afterward trying to figure out what the fuck the problem is this time. And I don't mean to be a dick, but a lot of these guys (including myself) grow for a living, and $100 ain't shit to them when they're getting $300+ per oz. There are guys in legal states that will act as your consultant to help build your growroom, but that'll cost you thousands. Growing big is a full-time gig, believe me...

P.S. I do sog f&d a la Al B Fuct, those are definitely the threads you want to read...

well... this is what i want to do. make a full time gig out of this Al B Fuct's technique looks just about fool proof. would need two rroms to make it work. anyways...i have a green thumb and im a hobby junkie. im even looking at whare-house(s) to rent space to grow lol. only problem i see is power usage. i dont see how you wouldnt raise a red flag with a monthly $2000 power bill. screw the power company!

You don't need two rooms, I grow 10oz every two weeks in a 8x6x8 room under two 600w hps. My mom and clone tent is small and right in the same room, light tight. Al shows how to do this so you don't need two separate rooms. Power companies just want to sell you power, they don't really care what you're using as long as you pay your bills on time. If you were spending $2000 per month in electricity at a single family house, they may raise an eyebrow, but that's only with LEO's warrant. If they are looking that closely at you, you're already fucked, anyway. In a warehouse, thousands in electric wouldn't be shit. Growing isn't easy, it takes time to learn and many mistakes are waiting to be made. I suggest starting small and learning how to handle the fuckups (they'll be plenty) then get bigger as your skills increase. Killing a small crop isn't so bad, killing a 15k watt grow would hurt like hell...
