SOG 5K Grow

Hi every one Havent grown in a while b/c of lack of where to grow but I have found a little room to grow again. Well the room is more the size of a walk in closet lol its 8x8. Thats why i decided to go sog. This is what Iam planning on doing tell me what you guys think.

Drain to Waste System

5-1,000 watt hps

2-10,000 Btu Portable A/C

3-Botanicare 36x36x7 White Grow Tray/ 50 6" Clones in each tray planted in hydroton straight to Flower.

Hoping to get close to 1 oz of each plant

5 x 1000 in an 8 x 8 room? sounds like you have no clue to me.

buy 2 1000 watts and 2 light movers thats all you need for that space buddy. you are welcome.

lol thats quite a bit of juice and heat for a walk in closet.... no room to work, unless youre gonna be rolling tables in and out... but even then the most you would could need is 4k in an 8x8, to get 1 light over each 4x4 of space...

Thanks for the reponses guys but I cant believe how you guys think it is too much light is there such thing i have friends with 15 lights in 10x12 rooms there is no such thing as too much light and if you guys think that is true Im sorry to say find a new hobby

trash the portable AC's and get wall units and build a box on the back of them. i've done both and have friends who have done both and hands down window unit with a box on the back provide much more cooling power per btu! FYI my 10k btu portable could not keep up with 3k and it barely handled 2k in a non sealed room.

True, too much light isnt a bad thing. They are just saying its not needed. Save some money and dont over do it.

Untrue. You can have too much light. It saturates your plants and bleaches the pigment in the skin of leaves and stems. A little research would show you this..

As for 5 x 1000's in a 8 x 8 space. If you mean Meters rather than foot then i would say yes that would fit the space. If its foot then you kidding yourself and making yourself look silly on a web site full of pro growers and hobbyists.
