A lot of people use coffee grounds (supposed to contain a decent amount of nitrogen)so I would imagine that straight coffee may have some benefits as well. I'm not too sure about soda, just sounds like a lazy employee to me :)

yeah coffee grounds are regularly used in compost and also carbonated water is very good for your plants gets oxygen right to the roots.
Wouldnt recommend pouring soda in your soil tho-get some seltzer water

Soda is full of sugar, it increases bio activity which increases plant nutrients, and both have water in them....A common organic soil ammendment is molasses which is similar to corn syrup in sodas. Too much of it will kill some plants.

i wouldent do it the coffe is whats makeing it thrive and the melted ice is wateing it but it sounds like ther isnt enough soda/citric acid to kill anything
you can try to water a plant with diluted coffee water see what happens keep us posted

soda wont grow mold (unless its in a horrid enviroment). therefor i wouldnt use it to grow anything. its prob the nasty ass ice from the never cleaned icemaker thats keepin things goin. coffee wouldnt hurt though. thats if that gas station makes coffee and not "tea" like most
