SoCal Winter Crop

After taking cuttings from my mother plants in Jan., I put them outside to flower which they are doing. The earlier ones are almost done and looking pretty good, but I'm worried about the ones that are about a month into flowering. With the days getting longer, does anyone know at what point they may need a little help (putting into more darkness hours). I don't want them to start revegging if I can help it.
As a side note, when do you think the clones can go outside on natural light cycles and not flower. I'm in SoCal.
Thanks!

hello ramona...
im in norcal
i also have a winter/spring crop...around April 20 i will be getting 13+ hours of sunlight...at that point i will start light dep till may 1st then pull if they are done or not...

you can put clones out in may without supplemental lighting...most clubs keep their clones @ 24/0 so you should slowly switch it to something closer to the sunlight you will get in mid may...
i use a "work string light" so i can put them out a little bit early...
what strain?

Thanks. I am popping the "almost done" ones in a shed around 5pm just so they behave. I have a variety. Blue Dream, an old school Colombian Red, OGK, Sour Grape. I have some high CBD strains starting to flower now that I'd like to be able to finish off. I cloned a few off of each for my summer crop. I hate this interim between starting the clones and letting the mothers flower. But this way I perpetuate my strains.

imo it's best to use quicker flowering plants for a winter spring grow...something with 8 week flowering time...
blue dream can take 11 weeks...
i know what you mean about hating this interim...im north of you..we are having awesome days (almost 70's)
but nights are really cold still...makes for slower growth...you feel like posting pics? i would like to see...
this is my first winter/spring grow...it's really more of a proof of concept than a real grow....

Sun light hours are already 12 hours a day in socal. well like 11 hours and 50 some minutes. Once it hits 13 hours (April 14) It will slowly start to reveg. Plants can and do start flowering around 13 hours outdoors because they know the day light hours are going down. The same can be said for flowering to reveg. Watch them. Your last few plants buds will be more fluffy then the first one.
