You definitely need a water source near the plants that you can run drip tubing off of. The larger the container you use for water storage the less you will need to go to the grow spot (the less the better). I am at 6,000 feet in the mountains of socal, it's a great climate to grow in.

well, im a little lower than that elevation. i was thinking of getting like 5 5gal buckets and hooking up an elevated drip system. seeing how long it takes to empty the buckets. and going from there.

Drip lines and buckets stick out like neon sighs that say "take my plants" from the sky. If you have a small garden it might not be a big deal.
You have a lot of work ahead of you which is why most people prep the beds early in the season and let natural veg grow over all their work. Be careful and be smart. Good luck JR

i was going to burry the lines and cover the buckets with reverse duct tape and roll them in the surrounding to make them blend in.

I wish everyone could go up in a helicopter. Serious, a garden hose is so easy to spot even if it was recently buried. It's not impossible just do a good job. Good luck and bring the camera if you can. JR
