At what price would I have to sell at to succeed? Patients dont want top shelf for actual reality based prices?

Unless you can expand on your criticism I wont give it much credence.

Have you read the number one complaint about the MMPR? The affordability aspect.
I don't have your #s to be able to say what your minimum sale price has to be. If you provide your production cost per gram, your monthly expenses, and production yield per month I could provide an estimated number. The more details given, the more I can help.
Indoor yielding 1.75 per 1kw @ $2/g is break even. (based on sw ont location, large monthly yield)
I am an accomplished grower, not an expert. We have expert growers onboard. My strength is in marketing and management.

I have read the complaints about the MMPR. Quality, and preferred strain follow the price issue.
You have to recognize where the complaints are coming from, and who is your target market.

Thanks, Ive been planning and implementing my business plans and strategies for several years. There will be profiting and expanding @ $2/gram. Which will include taxes and shipping, putting the price at around $1.5/g before shipping/taxes. My last concern is variety and quality, several dozen to pick and choose from and with a high, burn and flavor quality that most smokers have never dreamed of.

Will be a very interesting industry to watch emerge from the black.

I know it's been said before. But I'd love to start a sort of co-operative growing community. Like Kootenaygirl said, our real competition is with big pharma and those super large scale operations. I know it doesn't relate 100% but recently people have become far more informed with their eating habits and food purchasing. I would like to believe (and a small community of people i know with existing MMAR licences agree) that MJ quality is the most important aspect for medical use. If not there will certainly be a niche market that we could hit.

Again, if we were a more co-operative team we could, buy and sell between us. Have specific strains that you could grow and trade, buy and sell whatever to keep your clients happy. It totally makes sense for everyone. I have experience with web design and perhaps a communal website would work? I'm on board.

Does this group/co-op exist yet? Is there still interest in creating this community?
