So who started growing now?

I tried some autos outside on my deck last summer, figured because of our long days of light up here in the north during summer (17 hrs during the solstice) they would turn out nice. didn't really work out that great, got less than an oz from each. gonna give it another try this summer again. it's just for fun anyways.
Auto flowers aren't photo period dependent. They flower based on age not light cycle. Could have just been shit genetics.

that's why I thought they would do well. there's no better light than the sun, and we get plenty of it during the summer. at least 12 hours a day from March until October.

IIRC autos need at least 14 hours a day preferably more.

we can only grow from june to mid september, in those months we get well over 14 hours of daylight. almost 18 hrs of daylight in mid june. I guess it's either poor strains or I shit the bed growing them.

Also in Ontario, plants put out earlier than June 1 could revert to bud due to something to do with the sun or whatever. Pro tip. It did happen to me, I put it out May 19 due to good weather.

Then you know what it's like around here. I was going to move to Campbell River but the wife wanted to leave BC because of abusive ex. Worse move I ever made. Could have had a life on the island. Oh well.

All July and half of August we get near 18 hours of sunlight a day. That's why regular plants don't start flowering until near the end of Aug and never have time to finish before it gets too cold of a killer frost hits. Still 15 hours of light around mid-Aug.
