I ask because i need a job and i am curious as to where fellow smokers work? It's funny because i don't know where to start looking because it's been two years since my last job currently going to college. Anybody work at a place that requires a drug test every few months? :cuss:If the pay is well i would probably take it but i would hate to give up the herb for it.:eyesmoke:

You should never take a job just for the money because if you dont enjoy what your doing then you shouldnt do it. If you do something you enjoy doing then the money will eventually follow and you will want to get out of bed in the morn to go to work rather than dreading it. I am a self employed tradie and I love what I do although it can be hard work but at the end of the day the reward is well worth it.

dude 1.5lbs every 30 days keeps the wheels turning. Its not lavish living... I am only rocking a 2k perp. AND IT IS WORK.
My wife is letting me double the op to 4k... so that will be some breathing room.... just need to get 2 more 4x4s, 2 more 1ks, and all the trimmings.

DUDE YOU SHOUDL TRY IT... BEST JOB EVER. Wake up - bong hit. brush teeth - bong hit. go to the garden and do welfare check - bong hit....

Hey, I'm also in the restaurant biz. Restaurant kitchens seem to attract a certain kind of social reject. Lots of cooks and chefs smoke, or used to. Just be ready for shitty hours, busy shifts, and only modest pay unless you rock, like me. I'm also a full-time student. And gardener.

I retired from Union Carpentry. Good pay, benefits and a defined, secure retirement plan. 4 year apprenticeship. Only problem is that you gotta drive to where the work is. My daily drive was usually @ 150 miles round trip. I'm not complaining now, tho. In the summer I'd always be riding my scoots, so I didn't mind the long drive.

I work at a cemetery not only maintaining grounds and all equipment, but taking care of interments (burials) as well. really, I do it for the families, because it feels good to do something for someone in their time of grieving and need.

I run an independent comic studio, who is also working on animation/dvd properties and video games. But I do think, our friend who grows for a living, even beats my career. lol

Since my kids are grown, I don't work anymore. My husband makes enough for us to live on and jobs around here don't pay worth crap anyway.

When I weigh the time away from family on weekends and holidays against the pay, it doesn't add up for me.

Spending time with my loved ones is worth more to me than keeping up with the Jones'.
