for my water i allow it to sit out over night or for a few days to balance the ph and to keep it at room temp. it also gets rid of all the chlorine they put in the water. my plants seem happy enough

I was running r/o with cal/mag but it was a pain in the ass going to town and couldn't afford
to buy my own filter. I have well water and I think it was like 160. I heard bulk of the minerals are in the hot water line so I let the cold run a bit then add a bit of hot to get it to temp. Or if I`m
filling containers I just run cold and let it sit and warm up. The plants love it and I never have ph problems in soil. Its one of those things that save me time and gas money. I hated watering when I had to go to town to do it.

A simple perlite and low or non-nuted soil like Light Warrior can be mixed into FFOF to avoid any possible burn issues in early seedling and veg. As a matter of fact this is old info. What is your "variety" of reasons that you don't use FFOF?

I recently bought some FFOF and some perlite, for my 1st indoor grow that I'm hoping to start here soon. If you do not mind what is your FFOF/Perlite/Non-nuted soil mix ratio? Your adviose would be greatly appreciated, as I'm trying to take my time to gather as much info/knowledge to avoid costly and ignorant mistakes. Thanks

I'd also be leary of all the salts in mineral water

I agree with the sodium in the in the mineral water,but distilled works better than my tap which has bad ph issues makes my leaves curl (ram horns)

I use MG potting mix but i prefer to make my own soil mix and add my own nutes in progression
