so is my problem high ph?

I had powdery mildew on 2 of my plants. I came on here and looked at some threads and decided to try the milk/water solution. I sprayed the heck out of em and put them in front of a fan to blow dry. then about 5 days later the mildew was back, so I looked for another solution and decided to try the baking soda, and then the leaves turned yellow and had brown spots and leaves started curling down... they looked really bad almost like a chemical burn... now the mildew is back again so I decided that milk was less harsh on my leaves, sprayed the heck out of them and found a new thread that says the reason why milk and baking soda works is because of the high ph... didnt realize that until after I sprayed.. so do I spray with milk and spray with water to wash is back off right away or is the ph burn less a threat than the mildew? help please!

check out my journal, i purposely used baking soda to raise my ph from around 6 to a more healthy level of 6.5 and it fried one of my girls, may need to be flushed, thats usually the solution for chem burns

But I didn't water them with the solution I sprayed the solution on the leaves directly. Was I supposed to water them? How would that get the mildew off of the leavws

That is Leaf spot fungus, very common this time of year. U need this to stop it.

no no, im only talking about the burning of the leaves, unfortunetly i dont know much about mildew or how to get rid of it, wouldn't lowering the humidity in the grow area stop the mildew from spreading at least? somebody help the guy out:blsmoke:

baking soda works, spray at lights off, the best cure is to really get out the bad and start over.. reason being, powdery mildew comes from within the plant,and by the time you see it on the outside its really hard to kill it. the soda will retard growth but not totally get rid of it. overnight major temp and humidity changes between day and night is the start. plus ive read that mildew also gets in from a lockout from over nuteing and wet mediums that doesnt get enough airflow to the roots. then when you see the patches of mildew there letting go spores to help itself spread therefore its best to rid yourself of it now rather than fight a loseing battle ...

man. those are the best plants so far on flowering. sativas suck. Ive had problem after problem with them. ok, so i'm going today to get some tea for lockout and so if i plan to keep them i just keep spraying milk/water for the powdery mildew, buy special tea for the root lock out and air out the room better... I put bloom nutes 1 time a week (half dose- 1 tbs per 2 gallons). So do you all think that it is yellow spot fungus as well? I am so confused and put way too much into this grow to just trash the girls....
