so im going to buy a 250W HPS

So ya, and i think i picked out my bulb. The OSRAM VIALOX NAV-T SUPER 4Y series. Their bulb is 250 W - 133 lm/W - 33200 lm.

I wanted to know whats the max amount of plants i can have under this light. It will be in a closet 3'wide 2' deep 7' tall.

all depends if ur gonna top them or sog them or whatever. if ur gonna go natural and give them full time and size i wouldnt go above 3 and thats really pushing for space, i wouldnt go above two.. i grow in soil, about 5 weeks veg(about 2 foot in height) and use 1000 watts. i have five plants in a 4' x 4' x 6.5' tent. 5 maybe 6 is the max for that type of grow in the space available, i have 3 plants(harvest in the next day) that are around 5' tall, u may be better think about a sog grow

i read up on SOG and they say you should get a strain that finishes its cycle faster, do you have any strain suggestions? Right now i just have some bag seed veggin.

I have grown 40 plants in a sea of green with a 250w. They are on 1 month cycles 20 per tub works out well. Now I have a 600w and I have quadrupled the amount of plants and they are doing even better. I grow DWC 3 weeks to clone and 1 week to get the roots into the water and stick them into the flower room. Roots will explode once they touch that water

So since I've been vegging for about 9 days i need to pic out what HPS bulb setup I'm going to buy. Can anyone help me out?

htgsupply has good, inexpensive lights. you should get the 400w for a 3'x2' space
