omg you guys are calling me out. Alright. Here goes.

Here is a list of the homes that the health region shut down
http://www.calgaryhealthregion.ca/publichealth/envhealth/inspection_orders/housing.htm Go to that website. Notice the list of homes that are shut down? They are in order by date. Not all of them are for marijuana but lots are. And they are licensed. Its stated they are licensed.

Here is an example "ORDER OF AN EXECUTIVE OFFICER CLOSED FOR PLANT GROWING OPERATION PURPOSES UNFIT FOR HUMAN HABITATION ORDER TO VACATE"

Read that document or the other ones on the calgary health regions list and you will notice the following trend:
- the pdf file comments that its a licensed grow operation.
- the city comments on mould, electrical tampering, using nutrients, etc.....

I talked to a designated grower last year from calgary and he told me he was shut down and that the patient he was growing for didnt believe him. Thought the dg was running off with his meds.

i would tell the DG to call HC and to call their cops & straighten it out. get the MP involved as well. the City shut them down?? i think there has to be more to that story. they can't just shut down a legal grow..there's a lawsuit right there..I would suing for sure!

"Health Canada production license exists for the purpose of growing 244 marihuana plants within this residential dwelling This activity is known to create conditions that support mould growth and cause extensive damage due to excess heat and humidity produced during the plant growing activities. This is a breach of Section 2(1) of the Nuisance and General Sanitation Regulation and of Sections 3, 4 and 5 of the Housing Regulation"

At this stage the cops are involved. They talk to the growers if they are renters and remind them of their obligations to the owner and tell them they "should" to pay for repairs.

well ill read the articles later but, if they were full of mould and other issues than they should be shut down!. these assholes allowing mould and tampered electrical and not having certified lights ect, are ruining it for all the growers that are doing it right, also the dg selling the patients meds? that's very commen. charge the dg!
shit growers don't have the right to grow or need to fully inspected yrly and taught how to grow, ive said this before.
my 1 patient went threw 4 dgs before me, they all had mould, not cured, not right amounts sent to him ect, they were all shut down cause my patient told hc they were idiots!. he sent hc a letter supporting me with pics ect, he loves me cause ive helped his spazims

According to the health region just the fact that your growing plants in a house is enough to shut you down. They reference this law.

"This activity is known to create conditions that support mould growth and cause extensive damage due to excess heat and humidity produced during the plant growing activity. Doesn't need to be electric tampering or mould found. Because those reasons are not listed on all the shut down notices. Whats always listed is the above quote.

I bet these places are rentals and they've use this to get rid of the tenants and there won't be any fight.

Thats the part that scares me. How do they have the grow site? Did someone complain about smell to the police? Did the police call health canada and they told them there is a licensed grow at that location? The police do call health canada so if there was an initial complaint that would make sense. I have not heard anything about how they got it. The post on cannabis culture from 2013 is alarming because the city of calgary mentioned the expatriation dates on the license and knew specific info pertaining to that license. I didnt know health canada gave out all that info.

I know plenty of people....some who are plant lovers...so what happens if they find orchids instead of mmj....
and the orchid room is moist almost tropical....and there fore in conventional construction....this house may have
some mold..do they cage these houses....???

They should :lol: Orchids are nasty moisture mongers. They like the bathroom the best ;)

they should NO more be checking mmj grows than bedroom lettuce growers....with bedroom lettuce bloom boxes
maybe some people thrive in a moldy environment.....just saying
