So i got these 2 chicks right....

These are a couple of pics of my babies. I have them in a i'd say 10 gallon pot with some soil that i've used in previous years to grow Tomatos's so i believe it was pretty depleated. I transplanted them out of there original pots, at the first sign of budding, and did away with there Brothers lol...

I originally just screwed a couple screws into the side of the pot with some fishing line tied to them. At the end of the fishing line i had some paper clips i had bent into U shaps with one end bent to tie the fishing line to. These where used to secure the branches as i bent them more towards the sides and across the pot. These worked well for awhile but eventually had to build the Bamboo X you see, as a frame to secure the branches to.

Just wantin a little bit of an outsiders perspective on how my babies are looking and what i might be able to expect out of them. I have a pocket Microscope, and will be lookin for the milky amber method with my scope to determine when is right, but they have been flowering for 50 days exactly.

Reason i chose this method is about 2 weeks ago i used some Safers Soap to get rid of a Green worm, and Aphid problem. This appeard to have work but left i'd say 90% of the hairs on the plaint burnt. I applied around 9 in the morning and was told by a good friend that is educated on the subject, that it was ok to do so.

Long Story short i pulled them outta the sun IMMEADIATLY and washed them off gently that night. They have responded well in 2 weeks and have grown back pretty well to replace what was so painfully lost. Any input is GREATLY APPRECIATED, and thanks in advance....jeangreen

(I originally posted this same post in Newbie Central but got little response so am trying my luck in other area's )

i would say they look ok having anything is better than having nothing at all, this is my first grow also honestly mine look allot nicer but i also took into consideration getting good genetics, location on absolutle full day sun from east to west, and a well balanced diet of 20-20-20 these are huge factors to how they will grow but like i said anything is better than nothin..

Yea thanks guys for the input. Your right anything is better than nothing. I did give my plants some of the 20-20-20 than switched over to some 2-7-7 cactus fertilizer i found at a local store.

The Aphid info did help, and i will def keep that in mind for nxt year.

And yea i was kinda wondering what the taste might be like considering i did use some form of a pesticide in Safer Soap (organic). Also what would be your average guess on what i might can expect from my crop from the pics i've included? Like i said i havent had any make it this far, so am curious on after curing what i might have. Am i lookin at a blunt, a quarter, a half OZ? What?

Also like many of ya'll i've been experiencing alot of rain in my area. In just a few days since takin those pics I have seen a dramatic change in the hair coloration. I had almost 65-35% white to orange hairs after my soap mishap. But now it is almost 80-20% burnt orange, red, blackish hairs. Also using my Pocket scope i'd say 90% of my Trich's are milky.

Does this have more to do with it being time to harvest or all the rain that i've been having? I don't wanna go past the peak and i am on day 7 of rain, so mold might become an issue if i wait to much longer. These are a few pics with the first being a pic of what they looked like days ago when i originally posted and the other 3 being current condition. What ya'll think????

Give them a little more time hopefully you get some sun to dry them out bc u dont wanna pull a plant when its been rainin 7 days strait... They look nice I say a few more days and look on a clear day outside... Check out my 10 females out also... bongsmilie

Thanks for the advice and thats what i have been thinking. I wanna wait and let the plant remove alot of this water itself and also produce more thc once it dries out. I did clip one of my smaller buds that was more developed and covered up, and found another one of the little black worms in it. This worries me because whats the odds that the one little branch i happened to clip had the only worm/caterpillar. I know i should wait and i check daily for any signs of the worms but i see none, and thought after i burned them with the Safer Soap I had at least elminated my pest problems. This Sucks but what can you do....
