Now before I even start this post, I want to issue a discliamer to all professional growers out there: Do not take offense to my novice growing, I am just a goofy stoner!!!
Background: So me and all my friends smoke herb, a bunch of us have cannabis club cards which makes it relatively legal to smoke/grow. Anyways, more back story, we had this plant in our apartment, it was just for decoration. We bought it in a pot at ralphs for like $90 or something. So over winter break, we kinda forgot to water the plant and most of it died so we threw it out.
Now we were left with just an empty pot so we dcided to buy a few seeds of Bubblegum. Not knowing much about growing pot, we were just joken around about it but lo and behold, 1 week later the seeds are fuckin germinating and actually growing!! We have 1 roomate who isnt particularly "down" with us growing pot in our room so we decided to hide the pot which I'm estimating only about (1.5 feet by 1.5 feet).
I have done an enormous amount of reading about growing. Financially, going out and buying a high-end hydroponic system is something we can't afford. For light, we are using my 27 watt(I guess?) desklight. Now i know 27 to 400 watts is a huge difference, but the thing is... This light has 4 lights rights next to each other and it gives off a TON OF WHITE LIGHT. It can seriously light up an entire room almost. Also, we have cut up on aluminum can that is currently shaped like a C where there two stems would be inside the circle of the C, reflecting the light back onto the plant(if that makes sense)...
I dont know what kind of light it is or if this will even work but basically the entire point of this thread is for me to ask the friendly local stoner community: Is it worth it for me and my buddy stoner to grow these 3 germinated plants, to try to get at least 1 female plant out of the 3 and I guess 1 harvest before May(?)... If yes, what if any investments should we look into. I am not poor and can afford basic growing utensils but I'm not looking to become a serious grower who has a forest in his apartment but it would be nice to have a decent harvest so I dont have to keep buyen eights every other day
