so how big of a fan and filter should i have got?

Growing in a 2x2 tent just one plant with a 240 blackstar I have a 18 inch filter and 8 inch fan. Oh boy did I f$&@ up on measurements well any ways I think I'm going to keep the fan and filter when I do decide to get a bigger space to grow. I was wondering if I could just mask smell with ona when maintenance comes in to change filter. Or should I get a new fan and filter completely. I need it to be real silent so I was going to use insulated duct and bungees. So basically my Question is if I'm doing one plant with led do I need a fan for smell or can on a cover it up enough.

I don't run filters and I have a lot of plants..not super stinky strains mind you but I have a few chem/sourd types
Put it on a speed controller or something like that idk
I use 20" box fans and they don't make much noise at all on low

So would on a be enough for smell

I wonder in a 4" x 8" filter would be enough to scrub a 2x2 tent. Anyone?

look up diy filters dude. save yourself some cash.

How big would I make it. Where it could still be scrubbing the smell. 4" x 8" diameter x 8" tall would that be enough?

Someone walking into ur apt will smell ur 1 plant even with a good filter, that smell moves like a damn fog bank whenever you dont have a good negative pressure in your tent so unless ur not planning on opening the tent but once a week to water, the smell will get out. Nobody needs to go to your grow house unless you feel the need to check up on ur old room at the county jail. If someone is scheduled to come weekly/monthly then dont grow there.
