So do the fruity strains realy tast sweet, gummy, grapefruity, berry?

I'm from the old school! skunk red hair, ak 47, and all that shit and I was in law enforcement for a long time, so couldn't grow or smoke. But now I'm done with that so I wish to grow my own and would like to know what the sweet, berry, and alike strains are all about. Do they acctually smell and taste like their names or am I going to get that same armpit smell and dank smoke? Heres what I was looking at.

iced grapefruit
double gum
papaya
blueberry
any advice would be great thanks guys!!

They will take on the hue sometimes or even oftne.. But that means you have to flush and cure very well.. (Assuming the grow went well)

Theres many great ones, ya just have to look at the seedbanks to decide for yourself.. I like any of the white strains ie bubbilicous

Check out attitude or nirvana would be my suggestion

Yes actually ive tasted many types of very fruiting tasting / smelling bud. It doesnt always taste like a type of particular fruit.. but you get that feeling,some of its very sweet and resembles fruity pebbles or something like a fruit bowl imo, but that all depends on what strain it is, how well it was grown, and even more important, how long (and correctly) it was cured for

Although i cant speak for any of those strains you mentioned because i have not smoked them

I only tried two B.B. and DOUBLE GUM. The DOUBLE GUM was from Sensi Seeds and none germed from a whole pack. That was two years ago. BLUEBERRY only grew a clone and it tasted like a blueberry muffin (pure organic). Ohh yeah a couple hour buzz too. They say you can find a winner from a pack of Dj Short.

nice! I'm looking forward to that. So what about the smell? I've gone in to homes and the smell of fuel and skunk was there, but no sweetnes or berry smell. Am I going to have the strong skunky odor seeping from my walls? haha

ALL SHIT THE POLICE>> HE IS A STRANGER.. JUST JOKING ... The smell is sometimes present in the growth but with a proper cure the magic really takes place.

find the right pheno of Blueberry by dJ short and it smells like well blueberry but . The taste is there but it's not as overwhelming as the smell. Nothing comes close to blueberry in terms of fragrance.

You get a taste of fruityness in your buds, nobody's gonna hit it and say "shit man, that tastes like a fruitcake" but every now and then youll get that hit that taste like you just swallowed a blueberry while u were smoking and burped the Blueberry smoke back out. its more a reminance of fruit flavor

now some strains will smell like fruits, others like a skunk, others like fuel. Its just the sneakiness of the fruit flavor that makes "Fruit" strains extra special.

Yea, your gonna have smell anytime that moving air is hitting leaves, a carbon filter is a must have for growing dank u dont want others to know about

i can honestly say that the lemon skunk actually has a lemon taste and smell, one of the best weeds i have smoked

I recently had some DJ short Blueberry that a friend has a well. No blue look to it at all, but the best taste/smell of blueberry I've ran into.

Recently started 3 Blue Mystic and 3 Papaya from Nirvana. I should start a grow journal.

I'll be harvesting some Amnesia Lemon soon, and it sure does smell lemony. Even this one plant that really wasn't doing very well, so I cut it early and dried it out and everything just to sample. I broke some of it up with my fingers and the smell of lemons was certainly there.
