Snapped LA CHEESE in half! HELP

Hello world, I was in the midst of taking my dry plants out of the tent and moving in new ones for veg when I had some sort of leg spasm... Lol. I had a knee-jerk reaction and kicked my leg back right into one of my beautiful babies and snapped it clean in half, like straight up chopped off. I am butthurt to say the least, this was a cross a friend had done for me personally of his back crossed la confidential and apparently sexed it with a cheese super male. So naturally I whined and cried and yelled at myself for kicking my lady in the face and then I finished off my doobie and here we are.... I would imagine that it can come back from this in some way but what is an absolute surefire way to make it come back? I have heard of people dipping the two parts of the stem in rooting solution and tying them together with string. I have also heard my buddy say he wraps cotton around it and ties it with rope as well. I don't know what they are smoking but wouldnt cotton or string let air into the roots or something? & from what i can remember that isnt too good. So what i came up with as an idea would be an improved combination of those techniques, I was thinking i can dip that broken part in some KLN rooting solution then sprinkle some powdered kelp on it. After putting on the kelp I could wrap tape(I only have the metallic tin foil like tape for taping up an AC unit or something else metal) around the snapped part conjoining the two. My theory being if it is tight enough and airsealed it should send some repairing growth hormones over that way and the kelp I know helps with root production so I figured it wouldnt hurt. Haven't done anything yet its been about 4 minutes since it happened counting the time it took me to write this up maybe 6 minutes. I am baked so really I have no idea. I have the top half of the plant where the stem is submerged in water and I have the stem of the other half submerged in water as well. wtf do i do please help soon lol.

Just look at it as you topped her. She will compensate by increasing growth to other nodes. I wouldn't worry about trying to glue it back whatever if it was a clean snap.

ive had branches nearly snap and just be hangin by a thread and used zip ties and duct tape for a week till the split healed. redneck status!

It depends on age kinda veg or flowering? too, I've used a split straw, then hormone inside or not, and close the straw and tape or tie, they have a gel for that I think, quit beaten the Ladies or is this Matrix? :eyesmoke:

Use a little root gel and wrap a couple of leaves around it then some duck tape it worked for me in the past
Forgive me if i'm ignorant of something but why would you put rooting gel on it if your not trying to root it? I think i may have rea a post like that somewhere and the grower said that branch he put it on produced signifigantly less but where he put the hormone had a giant knot of a stem. His only convlusion is it took away from concentrating on plant growth and instead was forcing more energy into roots.
Could be complete bullshit who knows i was just wondering if you knew something i didnt.

You don't need to use root gel I think it just gives it that little extra help to bind its stems back use it don't use it by the time you've read this you should already know if it going to survive or not

give it support, just like everyone else here, I've had the same. I had a afghan/hindu that got stepped and bent in half, I taped the part it broke at, tied it to a large stick, and now she is the tallest plant I have, I didn't put anything in it either, just scotch tape. It formed a large knuckle and you can actually see THROUGH the hole, and the top part is growing strong now, I took the tape off most of it, to allow the stem room to grow, I've had that with several plants, that one was the most extreme (bent at least 180 degrees, probably more) and it grew right through it, with a little help and care

Its good to hear all of this and for those of you saying its like its topped I wouldn't say so, I had been removing the lower nodes to mainling the clone and was getting rid of every node and of course I got down to two nodes and I snapped it in half. I taped it together with a little bit of kelp powder on it(same shit helps rooting) And dochikory it was about 1 foot tall clone I got from the dispensary. It was about 8 inches when I got it and it had gone through one transplant already from a dixie cup to a 2 gallon pot then i transplanted from the 2 gal to a 10 gal and snapped the main stem. Only had it 2 weeks after i got it from the club before i snapped it and should I be holding up the stem to a stick or something as well? I may try that in the morning. so all of the leaves are drooping/wilting and the branches are all completely lifeless but the main stem is still green and strong has resilience when i move it a bit where as the branches are limp biscuit.

Right after it happened I took a clone of it which may sound good but for some reason I suck at cloning, every time one day after i clone anything all of the leaves wilt and look lifeless, very similar to the reaction of the snapped stem on my plant, but the stem stays strong. Is this what supposed to happen with clones?

that split straw idea is genius mate thats something ill do from now on, ive got it taped with duct tape now and the stem still is stiff so i think it might be good. I am going to be mainlining them all.
